Kodachadri Trek
Description
Kodachadri is a mountain peak that lies in Shimoga district in Karnataka. This peak is 10th highest peak in Karnataka and is at an elevation of "1300" ft above sea level. Kodachadri is located at a distance of 20 KMs from Kollur which is famous for its Mookambika temple. Shimoga and Kundapur are the nearest towns to reach Kodachadri. Beginners or trekking newbies can easily undertake this trek. Since most of the expedition covers a forest landscape amidst low altitudes, chances of altitude sickness are low as well.
Detailed Itinerary
Start - Starts From Bangalore
- You can report from different spots:
- 07:15 PM - Baroda Bank, Koramangala
- 08:00 PM - New Shanti Nagar Hotel
- 08:30 PM - (Hard Rock Cafe) MG Road
- Our trip starts around 9 PM. Enjoy the overnight journey from Bangalore to Kodachadri and have some snacks offered by the representative.
- Report at departure points where the representative meets you.
Day 1 - Kodachadri
- Around 06:00 AM we'll reach the campsite.
- After having breakfast, our trekking starts to Kodachadri at around 08:30 AM.
- Relax for some time near the Hindlumane waterfall.
- Have mid snacks at Buttermane points (self-sponsored or carry-optional) and at around 03:30 PM, we will reach the temple near where lunch will be served
- We will reach to the peak around 05.30 PM, to explore the surroundings- Sarvagna Peetha and the Arabian Sea.
- Descend to the campsite in our respective jeeps and will have dinner with bonfire.
Day 2 - Departs For Bangalore
- After having a self-sponsored lunch we'll do check out from the campsite around 09:00 AM and start travelling to Shivappa Nayaka Fort, Nagara Fort.
- Have a self-sponsored lunch.
End - Back To Bangalore
- We'll reach Bangalore by evening and our trip ends here.

- Sightseeing depends on time allow and weather conditions and vehicle access.
- No boarding without valid govt. approve ID. Your ID will be checked before boarding.
- Transportation details will be shared by the organizer 12 hrs prior to travel start.
- Anyone who missed the bus will not be entertained for a refund etc. and it will not be Eventskite and organizer's Responsibility.
- No refund will be made for late arrival, no matter what reason for the delay was.
- The organizer and Eventskite shall not take responsibility for a missing item during the trip.
- Any meal, activity or service not availed by the client will not be adjusted in package cost and non-refundable under any circumstances.
- No additional person will be entertained under any circumstances. We don't have any insurance policy covering the expenses for accident, sickness, loss due to theft or any other reason.
- AC will be switched off in hilly areas.
- Any changes in booking depend on the cancellation policy.
- In case of due to natural calamity booking is being canceled from your side or our side there would be cancellation policy applicable.
- Sightseeing will be done as per the itinerary only.
- Organizer reserve the rights to change any schedule in the interest of safety, comfort and general wellbeing.
- Any refund applicable will be processed within 14 business days.
- Any refund claims need to be done within 15 days of the date of travel
